Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is famous for his distinct style of rapping. Baker was originally born in Houston Texas, U.S. on the 22nd of April 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. His parents were missionaries, and throughout his childhood, he traveled a lot along with them. James Colson Baker was depressed and unemployed, while Sonia Alane, his mother, left his family when he was barely 9 years old. After that, Baker and his dad moved to Denver which was where they resided together with his father's aunt. Baker was bullied by other kids because of his poverty. As he entered sixth grade, Baker started to study rap. Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly was born on April 22 1990 in Texas the U.S. In his music, he is famous for mixing modern hip-hop styles along with classic rock. Prior to signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. After delivering lyrics faster than a bullet train and a soaring voice, the Cleveland rapper saw a rapid increase in fame and recognition in the year 2011. He went from releasing self-released tapes to the signing of labels. His career took off after that, with each of his releases making it to the top 10 of charts.
