Ashley was two months premature and weighed in at 2 lbs, 8 ounces. Her time in the ICU took a full month. The news was made to her parents on Christmas Day that she was going to undergo an operation on her heart. Christmas Day was the day that doctors confirmed to her parents what they had begged for since she went into hospital and her parents received the news. Ashley has not required any kind of operation. In two months of hospitalization she weighed only 4 1/2 lbs when she was released. Since then, she's in good health! Her father is English as well as German descent. Her mother's family is Irish. In 2002, she made her debut as a model in an ad for the Salon Surprise Barbie Doll. Ashley was then pursued at eight years old at the age of 8 by Ford Modeling Agency. Today, Ashley continues to work in the print industry. At the age of 10, she wanted to pursue acting. Ashley performed in over 35 commercials. Then, she moved into roles for the stage. The acting was her passion now. Ashley's focus shifted to acting. She had little time for dancing and modeling. Ashley's latest role is "Hanna Marin" which was a part of ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars (2009). Ashley has also appeared in Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) and Solange's music video for the track "True love". Ashley also shot a photo with Britney Spears for Vogue Magazine. The singer is featured in the NLT's music video "That Girl".
